CUNY School of Medicine and The Parkinson’s Foundation presents: How to Talk About Parkinson’s in Your Community. This is an interactive workshop that includes: basic knowledge about Parkinson’s Disease, tools to educate and engage community members. a “train the trainer” component featuring expert-led lectures, interactive activities, and pre/post assessments.
This is free training for community health workers at Commonpoint Bronx. Free certificate of completion and certificate of attendance included. This training is part of research project to assess how Parkinson’s education and outreach efforts can positively effect our communities.
Bilingual support (English/Spanish) is available upon request along with free materials and refreshments.
