Ways to Give

Why do we list our donation options in increments of $18?

Eighteen is a special number in Jewish culture because it is the numerical value of the Hebrew word chai, meaning “life.”

$36 = can provide a food package with enough food for 15 meals for one person

$108 = can provide a career counseling session

$180 = can provide a backpack and school supplies for up to ten children

$270 = can provide one week of a caregiver support group

$540 = can provide enrichment programming for a child with special needs

Each donation:

  • Is tax-deductible
  • Supports the individuals and families that need it most
  • Will make a long-lasting impact
