Ways to Give
Why do we list our donation options in increments of $18?
Eighteen is a special number in Jewish culture because it is the numerical value of the Hebrew word chai, meaning “life.”
$36 = can provide a food package with enough food for 15 meals for one person
$108 = can provide a career counseling session
$180 = can provide a backpack and school supplies for up to ten children
$270 = can provide one week of a caregiver support group
$540 = can provide enrichment programming for a child with special needs
Donate directly from your donor-advised fund using DAF Direct. Neither you nor Commonpoint Queens will incur any download or transaction fees.
Your donation contributes to programs that support individuals and families through infrastructure, partnership, and advocacy. One such initiative is the Employment Hub, which is committed to providing an accessible source of employment support services to the community.
Each donation:
Without your support, we cannot develop the programs and support systems that help individuals and families transform their lives. Together, we empower community, lifting people to long-term stability.
