Valentina Lorca

Valentina Lorca is the Senior Director of the Bay Terrace Pool & Athletic Complex, a role she has held with pride and purpose throughout her entire working career at Commonpoint. A lifelong local, who grew up just down the block she now leads, bringing a deep sense of connection and commitment to her work.

Under her leadership, the Bay Terrace Pool has flourished — membership has reached record highs, and the club has been recognized as the Best Pool Club in Queens for three consecutive years. Her success has even led to the club closing membership due to high demand. In addition to revitalizing the pool, she has expanded the athletic bubble’s programming and rentals, working closely with both the older adults and special needs departments to ensure that everyone has access to quality facilities and support.

Beyond her professional achievements, she is most passionate about being a mom and cherishes time spent with her family and friends. A proud Colombian, she brings warmth, dedication, and heart to everything she does — whether at home or in the community she’s helped shape for years.
