Sivan Ben-Aderet

Sivan Ben-Aderet is the Senior Director of Cultural Arts & Jewish Heritage at Commonpoint, where she brings over a decade of experience and dedication to community enrichment.

Sivan is passionate about curating innovative, inclusive, and thought-provoking programming that celebrates Jewish culture and values and fosters meaningful connections across diverse communities. During her tenure at Commonpoint, Sivan has led numerous successful initiatives including heritage events, educational workshops that deepen cultural awareness and engagement, holiday festivals, programs featuring Jewish arts and authors, and more.

She is excited to continue building vibrant programming that reflects the rich tapestry of Jewish life, the diverse cultures in Queens, and cross-departmental collaborations.

Sivan resides in Bayside, NY, and grew up at Commonpoint where she was a member of the Bay Terrace Pool Club and attended summer camp at the Samuel Field Y. She enjoys relaxing with her two cats, binge watching TV shows, and trying new ice cream spots.
