Shine Choe

Coordinator, Research & Evaluation

Shine serves as Commonpoint’s Research & Evaluation Coordinator on the Impact, Research, and Evaluation (IRE) team. In this role, she supports programs across the organization in learning, growing, and deepening their impact through thoughtful evaluation, collaborative strategy, professional development, and meaningful project management. She guides survey and research initiatives, partners closely with departments agency-wide, and helps ensure that ideas move from concept to completion in ways that are intentional, coordinated, and grounded in learning.

With a background in psychology and human resources, Shine brings a people-centered lens to data and strategy. Her experience in both research and HR allows her to bridge numbers and narratives – translating insights into actionable steps that empower teams and strengthen programs. She has co-authored published research studies and is especially passionate about creating spaces where reflection, curiosity, and innovation can thrive.

Shine earned her B.A. in Psychology and minors in General Business and Human Resource Management from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, healthy cooking and baking, building miniatures, visiting art museums, and spending time with friends and family.
