Sarah Decker

Sarah Decker has been teaching swimming for 7 years, working with all ages from birth to adulthood. She started competitive swimming at the age of 4 in Houston, Texas and immediately found a passion for the water. She then moved to New York to swim collegiately for Hunter College, where she was team captain for three years and led the team to three consecutive championships. She believes that great swim education from learn-to-swim to competitive and collegiate swimming can help children gain invaluable skills and lessons they’ll take with them into adulthood. Sarah’s passion for coaching stems from the lessons she learned as an age group swimmer: discipline, confidence, and leadership. She is a graduate of Hunter College with a BA in English Education.
