Jason Rok
Chief Financial Officer
Jason Rok was named Commonpoint CFO in the Fall of 2024, leading our agency’s Fiscal Team and collaborating with leadership throughout Commonpoint to ensure budgets, contracts/grants, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll are operating effectively.
Jason came to Commonpoint after spending nearly four decades in a variety of financial positions. Most recently, he served as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer for The Children’s Aid Society, a position he held after serving as the VP of Finance and Operations for Nontraditional Employment For Women.
About ten years ago Jason made a major career pivot, deciding to leave the for-profit finance world in a quest to be more involved in giving back to the community. This decision was kicked off by being accepted into the Robin Hood Foundation’s LeaderLink Program. From there, on top of working for reputable non-profits, Jason also began volunteering for You Gotta Believe, serving on their Advisory Board’s Finance Committee.
In addition to his work in finance, Jason has spent time working the line in professional kitchens, is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta, and has been happily married for over 25 years.
