Dawn Rafal

Dawn Rafal is a digital storyteller driven by a desire to build a more just world. As a lifelong #QueensKid, she is passionate about community building, currently working as a Digital Marketing Manager with Commonpoint.

At Commonpoint, Dawn has been part of the marketing team since 2019, where she manages the Commonpoint website, social media channels, email campaigns, flyers and graphics, and more.

Dawn is a proud alum of Sam Field where she attended nursery school and pre-k, along with spending summers across the street at what is now known as the Tanenbaum Family Pool.

Dawn earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a certificate in Civic Engagement from Northwestern University.

Outside of her work, Dawn enjoys dance, writing, eating her way around Queens, and a good cup of coffee.
