Danielle Hersch

For the past three years, Danielle Hersch has used her deep knowledge and experience with the agency’s program and finance departments to help introduce and manage new projects and initiatives to help move the agency forward as the first ever Chief Strategy Officer. While also overseeing the agency’s Youth Education Services, High School and College Success, and Day Camps divisions, Danielle played a major role in the development of the agency’s first client management system and works closely on critical projects with Human Resources and Fiscal Services. 

After growing up in adolescent programs at Sam Field, Danielle has served in many roles, programs, and departments within the agency since coming on full-time in 2005, most notably as Associate Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Assistant Vice President of High School and College Success, and the Director of Youth and Adolescent Services. In these roles, Danielle was vital to the tremendous growth of programs and addition of NYC and NYS government contracts, including those for at risk youth and Day Camps. 

Danielle holds a BA in Political Science and journalism from Queens College and a Master’s in Social Work from Adelphi University.  She lives in Queens with her husband and her two children, both proud Commonpoint Queens program participants.
