Assistant Vice President of High School and College Success

Danielle has serves as the Assistant Vice President of High School and College Success (HSCS) since 2019. In this capacity, Danielle leads various programs and services to support adolescents and young adults, focusing on school-based initiatives, youth employment services, higher education programming, and college access and persistence. Under her leadership, HSCS has expanded to offer center-based programming at the Jamaica Youth Opportunity Hub. Additionally, Commonpoint is set to open a new location, a Family Enrichment Center, funded by the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS).

Danielle joined Commonpoint in 2013 as a Counselor-Advocate with the Opportunity Youth Program. She later oversaw the Ladders for Leaders summer internship program, where her passion for providing youth opportunities to ignite their passions through internships took off. Next, she became the Senior Director of Youth Employment in 2017, managing various Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) contracts and CUNY college programming.

Danielle combines her extensive experience in her current role, bridging the gap between summer and year-round adolescent programs. She supports adolescents in school through post-secondary planning, community work, entrepreneurial exploration, and career transitions to ensure accessibility and success for all youth.

Danielle holds a BA in Psychology from Sacred Heart University and a Master’s in Social Work from Stony Brook University.

Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys and loves watching them create their own experiences and adventures at Commonpoint!
