Summer of Arts & Sports Camp

Thank you for your interest in the Summer of Arts and Sports day camp!
Our premiere on site day camp serving the community for over 30 years is located at our Central Queens location in Forest Hills and is designed to enrich, stimulate and encourage your children to reach their full potential. Our goal is to provide your child(ren) with a fun, dynamic and creative curriculum that fosters self-confidence, encourages friendships and campers personal growth.
You have the option to enroll your child for a 4 through 8 weeks camp experience. The campers day includes weekly sports with an instructional skill based curriculum. Our emphasis is on building foundational skills and participation, all within a supportive environment. Our certified Aquatics staff, along with your child’s counselors, lead our swimming instruction in our indoor pool. Your child’s creativity, critical thinking and artistic expression will be fostered within our Art, Dance, Education and Specialty programming. Campers will be served a delicious Glatt kosher lunch and snack is provided.
The camp day is from 9:00-4:30 pm. Before care from 7:30 am and after care until 6:00 pm is available for an additional fee.

Summer 2025 Additional Fees:
Registration Fee: $150 (per family)
Mandatory Insurance Fee-$20 (per camper, paid once per 12 months)

Summer 2025 GRADS Program Details:
The GRADS program, designed specifically for campers aged 12-14 who are
ready for a more advanced camp experience. This exciting program offers a
unique blend of camp, leadership development, and adventures. Campers will
start each day as Counselors in Training (CIT), assisting camp counselors with
daily routines to build valuable leadership skills. In addition to their CIT
responsibilities, participants will embark on 1-2 offsite trips each week,
including a special leadership trip every Monday. These leadership trips
provide hands-on learning experiences, such as navigating the MTA system
with the support of a knowledgeable staff member, ensuring that campers
develop both practical skills and confidence.
Summer 2025 Discounts:
Sibling discount: $100 (register for 6-8 weeks), $50 (register for less than 6 weeks)
Camper Referral Bonus: $100 finder’s fee per family who recommends a child for the first time with SAS Camp for 6 weeks or more. For campers registering for 5 weeks or less, you will receive $50.
Camper Referral Bonus Conditions must apply: the child must be new to
Commonpoint Queens, have completed his/her entire session, paid tuition in
full, and not be receiving financial assistance.
