Dive into the aquatic oasis of our indoor swimming pool, featuring turquoise walls and racing lanes. Perfect for swim classes or solo laps, it boasts diving boards and vibrant wall posters, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all swimmers right in the heart of the Bronx.

We are excited to bring our swim instruction to the Commonpoint Bronx Center! Thanks to the support of DYCD, we are launching an 8 Week FREE Spring Swim Session for ages 5-17 beginning May 4! 

Classes will be held once a week from May 4 -June 30 with weekday afternoon and weekend morning options. This program will be held at the Commonpoint Bronx Center (1665 Hoe Avenue, Bronx, NY 10460).

Our program focuses on building water comfort, safety skills, and progressively developing swimming abilities through structured levels, with the goal of teaching individuals to confidently enjoy the water while minimizing risks and preventing drowning incidents. All classes are taught by certified Water Safety Instructors and based on the Red Cross Learn-to-Swim progra

Coming soon this Spring, become a member to access our gym, pool, fitness center, and more for just $30 a month for a limited time only! Membership includes access to our pool, gym/fitness center, basketball courts, discounted rates to classes, and more!

Nuestro programa ofrece clases de natación para personas de todas las edades, desde bebés hasta adultos, centrándose en desarrollar la comodidad del agua, las habilidades de seguridad y el desarrollo progresivo de las habilidades de natación a través de niveles estructurados, con el objetivo de enseñar a las personas a disfrutar del agua con confianza mientras se minimizan los riesgos y se previenen incidentes de ahogamiento; todas las clases son impartidas por instructores certificados de seguridad acuática.

  • Parent & Child (Ages 6 months – 3 years) – This parent & child class will introduce your child to the water and utilize fun games and exercises to encourage skills development and coordination while parents learn basic water safety for their children.
  • Preschool (Ages 3-5, 7 days a week, 10 week session)
    Levels 1-2 – Teaches water acclimation, basic floating, and skills to instill confidence and water safety
    Level 3 – Start to gain basic swimming skills
  • Youth (Ages 6-12, 7 days a week, 10 week session)
    Levels 1-2 – Explore water-learning skills including learning to float, basic strokes, and deep water orientation
    Level 3 – Instruction and refinement on the 4 strokes of competitive swimming through drills
  • Teen Levels 1-3 (Ages 13-18, 7 days a week, 5 week session)
    Levels 1-2 – Introduction to water safety and fundamental aquatic skills
    Level 3 – Stroke development and improvement
  • Adults (Ages 18+, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, 5 week session)
    Learn to swim – Helps participants’ gain basic aquatic skills and introduce swim strokes
    Stroke improvement – Improve participants’ proficiency in basic aquatic skills and the six basic swimming strokes
