Sofia Valencia

Starting as a Youth Worker at just 16 years old at PS139 and Pioneer Day Camp, Sofia quickly found her passion in youth programming. During COVID, she stepped up as an Assistant Director for Learning Bridges, where she honed her leadership skills and navigated unprecedented challenges. This experience led her to take on roles as Director for PS144 and Unit Head, ultimately becoming the Assistant Director of Explorer Day Camp. Her journey reflects a deep commitment to creating enriching experiences for young people, and she is proud of the growth and impact she has been able to achieve along the way.
