Sofia Rago

Sofia has been a dedicated member of the Commonpoint team for six years, beginning her journey as an Administrative Assistant for the Summer Youth Employment Program and Work Learn Grow. She later transitioned into a full-time role as a Recruitment & Outreach Specialist for the GOALS Program at Richmond Hill High School, where she supported over 100 students through Social-Emotional Learning and Career Exploration programming. Most recently, Sofia began a new chapter as the Program Coordinator for the NDA Program at Richmond Hill High School. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work, along with a BA in Humanities & Justice and double minors in Latino Studies and Counseling. Deeply committed to advocacy and community empowerment, Sofia’s favorite part of her work is creating a safe, supportive environment for students and equipping them with the tools they need to thrive beyond high school.
