Sally Rexing

Sally Rexing is a Therapist and Clinical Director of Mental Health Integration Services at Commonpoint. Although she began her journey in November 2023 at Commonpoint, her first summer job was at a YMCA as a camp counselor with children 3-5 years old. She went to Silberman School of Social Work at CUNY Hunter for her MSW. Since then, Sally has been providing mental health services to clients across the lifespan. Over the past 8 years she has been providing Child Parent Psychotherapy to families and children ages 0-5 years old and recently became passionate about perinatal mental health. Now at Commonpoint, she is utilizing her experience with Reflective Supervision to provide training and support to staff and clients within Commonpoint around mental health, person centered trauma informed care and self care. She believes that partnership and collaboration are at the heart of the work we all do everyday. Outside of Commonpoint, Sally enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and exploring new foods.
