Michell Marin

Michell Marin joined Commonpoint in September 2021 as the Program Director for the SYEP Emerging Leaders Program. She brings a strong background in youth development, holding a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from NYACK College. Before joining Commonpoint, Michell served as an after-school site director, where she discovered her passion for mentoring young people and creating spaces that inspire growth, confidence, and leadership. She is dedicated to helping youth realize their potential and believes that having positive role models can make a lasting difference in their lives.

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Michell has a deep connection to the communities she serves. She enjoys being part of the Commonpoint team because of its commitment to equity, empowerment, and collaboration. Outside of work, she loves traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and trying out new restaurants. Michell brings warmth, purpose, and enthusiasm to everything she does—and is proud to support and cheer on the next generation of leaders.
