Jared Mintz

Jared’s introduction to Commonpoint came when his grandmother – a member of the Sam Field Older Adult Center – asked if they were hiring summer camp counselors when he was 15. Since then he’s been a key community-builder and connector for the organization, with roots that extend back to attending after school programs at PS 115, Beacon basketball programs at MS 172, and programs at Martin Van Buren High School.

After spending his teenage years as a youth worker, Jared joined the marketing team in 2011 which has led to the agency’s social media, search rankings, graphic design, and digital media platforms growing tremendously as the agency has more than quadrupled its reach. Additionally, Jared’s work with outside consultants, key staff and community members was the catalyst in launching the Commonpoint brand, one that is recognizable across the city of New York and the surrounding area.  In addition to marketing and communications, Jared plays key roles in agency employee experience and engagement and ADEI initiatives.

Jared earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Hartford, and worked in ESPN’s Stats & Information department prior to joining Commonpoint in a full-time capacity.
