Errone Kemp

External Communications and Database Manager

Errone began her journey in the nonprofit world during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Unsettled with sitting at home and doing nothing during such a devastating crisis, Errone sought to help her community. She joined Invisible Hands Deliver – a non-profit organization created as a response to the pandemic to do free deliveries of groceries, prescription pickups, and food pantry pickups to older adults, the disabled, and the immunocompromised. Errone volunteered for a year in the dispatch department connecting volunteers with recipients of Invisible Hands services. Errone had some of her best memories there and learned what it truly means to serve others. Eventually, she was hired as Director of Delivery Fulfillment, rolled up her sleeves to lay the foundation for the organization’s operations, and helped make a young non-profit into a household name that later gained the respect of many politicians, universities, and even celebrities. After Invisible Hands merged with Commonpoint in September 2022 to expand volunteer services, Errone took on the role of External Communications & Database Manager working in both the development and volunteer services departments. Errone now has the best of both worlds serving an even broader audience through the new Invisible Hands by Commonpoint volunteer services (which appeals to her heart), and finding creative ways to help expand Commonpoint’s mission (which appeals to her ever-tinkering mind). When not working (but sometimes while working from home), Errone likes to spend time with her two cats (Micah and Queens) and enjoy a hot herbal tea. When truly not working and not in the city, you can find Errone on quiet nature walks, hiking, and traveling to warm, tropical destinations.
