Run the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon

For our 8th year, Commonpoint will join the world’s largest marathon, with people from all over gathering to achieve the 26.2-mile goal. The TCS New York City Marathon became the world’s largest marathon ever, with 55,646 finishers running in 2024, and 2025 is looking to be even bigger! As a Bronze Level Charity Partner, Commonpoint has six guaranteed entry spots, and one of these spots can be yours! 

Running with Team Commonpoint is a fantastic opportunity to raise funds for emergency food support, workforce training and job placement, summer camp, college access, and so much more while sharing a life-changing, powerful experience with thousands of other runners from across the globe. 

Team Commonpoint runners will receive: 

Fundraising Commitment 

A minimum $5,000 fundraising commitment is required to run with Team Commonpoint and receive guaranteed entry into the 2026 TCS New York City marathon. A valid credit card must be included with your signed contract to confirm your spot.

Failure to meet the $5,000 fundraising requirement by November 15, 2026, at 11:59 pm, will result in the remaning balance being charged to your credit card on November 16. 

Application Process

Early bird applications will be accepted until Tuesday, March 3, 2026. The general application period will be from Wednesday, March 4 to Wednesday, March 18, 2026 Interviews will be held as applications are submitted. Runner spots will be confirmed via email by Friday, March 20 2026.

Race Registration and Fee: 

The TCS New York City Marathon charges a race registration fee ($255 for NYRR members, $315 for non-members, and all race registration fees are subject to an $11 processing fee). These fees do not count toward your fundraising minimum. Runners are responsible for covering their registration fee, due upon registration on the NYRR portal.
