Commonpoint provides more than preparation for the success of future leaders. Each high school program invests in inspiring hope and reminds young people that they can achieve their goals despite their life challenges.
Joseph’s Story
I was 18 when I dropped out of high school because my grandmother passed away. It was really tough for me.
When I was 24, I was aging out of the HSE program, and I didn’t want a diploma; I felt like it was just a piece of paper.
With the help of my family and Commonpoint Queens’ staff, they convinced me to come back.
I didn’t realize I could get my diploma at this age, and it felt great.
