ESOL Classes in the Bronx and Queens

Overview

Want to learn English? Beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes are offered virtually, in person at the Silver Hub in Elmhurst, Central Queens location in Forest Hills, and our new Bronx Center!

All students must complete a pre-test and DYCD intake before enrolling.

Eligibility

  1. Living in an New York City (NYC) for at least 184 days ( 6 months)
  2. Can provide some form of identification
  3. NO United States Citizenship or US documentation needed. (ALL immigration status welcomed!)

Queens (Elmhurst/Forest Hills):

If you would like to join the program in Elmhurst or Forest Hills (Queens), please pre-register here. Assessments will be held for the next cohort in late March/early April.

Learn English and join our classes beginning in October! Assessments will be held October 1 and 3 – fill out our interest form to get started. / Aprender Inglés con nuestros clases empezando en octubre. Tenemos evaluaciones el 1 y 3 de octubre – empezar aqui.

English classes are In-Person and Virtual /  Las clases de Inglés son Presenciales/ On line

Different levels are offered. Level 1 / Level 2 /Level 3/ Level 4 English classes – Oral Assessment test is required.  Para los siguientes cursos: Nivel 1 / Nivel 2 / Nivel 3 / Nivel 4 – Se requiere de evaluación oral.

The in-person classes are located at Commonpoint Bronx / Las clases presenciales están ubicadas en  Commonpoint Bronx
