Kristina Andrade
Case Worker, Resilience Program
Kristina’s journey with Commonpoint began four years ago when she was accepted as a Job Development intern at the Hub through the Ladders for Leaders (L4L) program. Following her summer internship, she continued for several more months as a part-time receptionist at the Hub. After a short pause, Kristina returned to Commonpoint for another L4L summer internship at Sam Field in the Human Resources Department. She later continued working part-time in HR while simultaneously attending Queens College, where she earned her B.A. in Psychology in May 2025.
Last fall, Kristina joined Commonpoint’s mentorship program and was paired with the Senior Director of the Resilience Department, Leslie Kraut. Through this connection, she was hired as a full-time Case Worker in the Resilience Department. In her role, Kristina provides case management services to individuals of diverse ages and nationalities, with a focus on supporting those who have recently arrived in the U.S. As she continues her journey in Resilience and at Commonpoint, she hopes to pursue a Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling. In her free time, Kristina enjoys serving at her local church, baking, and traveling.
