Brandon Sookhoo 

Program Coordinator, Student Success Center, Richmond Hill High School

Brandon D. Sookhoo is the Program Coordinator for the Student Success Center at Richmond Hill High School. As a Program Coordinator, Brandon collaborates with Richmond Hill High School’s staff, and program personnel to implement a wide array of post-secondary initiatives. He designs and delivers engaging content that is relevant for students and families as they prepare for life after high school. Not only that, Brandon provides individualized and group advisement to students as they prepare to transition from high school to college/ university, trade school, and/or workforce. In addition to that, Brandon assists students with a range of post-secondary related applications. He ensures that every student he supports has access to the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to be successful in college/ university, trade school, and beyond.

Brandon has extensive experience working with students of all age groups and is extremely passionate about helping students achieve success both inside and outside the classroom. He is a firm believer in the power of education and how it can change the trajectory of one’s life. Brandon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and minor in Education from York College / CUNY in 2019. He also earned his Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs from Pace University in 2022. Outside of his professional duties and responsibilities, Brandon enjoys reading, writing poetry, playing video games, watching movies, and listening to music.
